If you’re anything like me, you forget to set aside time to reflect on completed project and you move on to the next thing on your to-do list. I’m working on changing that by reflecting on my journey photographing Kult’s menu to documenting their grand opening.

The only opportunities that pan out are ones that you invest in. And part of that is taking that first step and betting on yourself. This year has been about constantly learning about myself and pivoting. I’m a serial over thinker and something that I want to get away from. I’ve recognized that it has prevented me from jobs, meeting people, and learning new things.

I’m done with all that and I wanted to share a how responding to one IG story kickstarted a client relationship with business owners Nino and Cheryl Eng of Kult and Nite Creamery . It’s been great getting to know them, as well as their Head Chef Steve Lucero, and contribute to bringing their vision to life.
