In response to the pandemic, we transitioned away from our photography business and started a new organization, COMMUNITY ROOTS PROJECT. It was born out of a passion to connect the people to the community through our skills as photojournalists, with the focus on telling stories about the people of our community.

"DEAR SLO," was the debut piece under this new name. It was created in collaboration with the Downtown SLO Association to promote their “Friends of Downtown SLO Fundraiser” and featured different business owners.
